Skip has 20 years of experience in federal IT leadership, serving as Sr. VP and Sr. Director responsible for all IT resources and budget at Government Contractors with up to $1 Billion in annual revenue.
He has successfully implemented NIST 800-171 controls to achieve DFARS 252.254-7012 compliance — and maintained a superior rating in annual Defense Security Service (DSS) audits. Skip also has extensive experience with FOCI mitigation (Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence) — a critical requirement for many DoD contractors.
His background includes data center and facility design, construction, and migration, as well as maintaining on-site customer connections in SCIFs from DoD and Civilian Agencies. He specializes in operational activities to maintain and protect sensitive unclassified information in a cost-effective, audit-ready manner.
